  • This role will impact space flight programs and objectives! Ensure product quality and conformance to engineering specifications.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining
  • Nickel-based stainless steel alloys
  • Blueprint reading including GD&T
  • Operate state of the art CNC machines
  • Fabricate components for spaceflight systems

Nice-to-have

  • Tooling and fixture design
  • Vertical Turning Lathe experience
  • Outside processing knowledge
  • CMM programming/operation experience
  • Conversational programming on machine

Key Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in machining aerospace components
  • Experience with Mazak, Hass, Kuraki and/or DMG Mori CNC machines
  • Working knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol or other CNC controls
  • Ability to provide Design for Manufacturing feedback
  • Physically able to climb ladders, stairs, work in small/restricted areas, and lift and carry 25 lbs.
