Job Summary

  • As Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic, you'll be inspecting, servicing, maintaining, testing and storing our aerospace ground service vehicles and equipment to support aircraft flight and maintenance operations.
  • Your duties will also include providing dispatch services for AGE, including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations, and preparing AGE for storage and mobility deployment.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Exposure to technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals
  • Experience performing periodic government inspections
  • Ability to perform load testing on aircraft jacks
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain AGE equipment records
  • Familiar with multiple tools and their use
  • Removal and replacement of parts
  • Understanding of electronics, refrigeration, hydraulics, power generation, engines, pneumatics, heating
  • Moderate skills in servicing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing AGE
  • Active US driver’s license
  • Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/30 rotation
  • Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements
  • Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
  • Willing to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules
  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required
  • U.S. Citizenship status required
