Job Summary

  • This role supports the EMEA Compliance team by reinforcing compliance culture within TP ICAP's Belfast offices.
  • The incumbent will advise on the interpretation of complex transaction reporting rules including MiFIR, EMIR, SFTR, and REMIT.
  • The position involves leading compliance risk assessments, developing policies, and acting as a senior point of contact for regulatory bodies.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • In-depth knowledge of MiFIR RTS 22
  • Experience with EMIR and SFTR regulations
  • Knowledge of UK and EU financial services regime
  • Understanding of REMIT transaction reporting rules
  • Experience in compliance or operational risk roles

Nice-to-have

  • Experience of inter-dealer broking
  • Working knowledge of execution methodologies
  • Understanding of risk-based approaches
  • Previous experience in wholesale financial markets

Key Requirements

  • Working knowledge of FCA Handbook and SMCR
  • Experience analysing regulations and assessing business impact
