  • It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
  • The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner and prepare tasteful meals following menus and portion control guides.
  • The role includes supervisory responsibilities, assisting with serving meals, reporting resident care concerns, and participating in the orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.

  • Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred
  • Must remain in good standing with Department of Public Health
