Heidelberg Materials is seeking an experienced Deckhand to assist with vessel operations and maintenance, primarily on the water. The role requires physical capability and a commitment to safety, with a preference for candidates with barge towing experience
Job Summary
Assist with operation and maintenance of vessel equipment, handle towing lines and rigging during docking and undocking, and perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
Must be willing to work on the waterway for up to 30 consecutive days, living aboard the vessel, and able to enter small dark areas and climb ladders.
Benefits include Medical, Dental and vision, and a Union Pension, with a starting pay of $21.42 per hour.
