Job Summary
Performs routine tasks of event review and assigned project work under the direction of a medication safety pharmacist.
Interns will review event reports to determine contributing factors to errors, severity of the harm to the person affected and probable solution(s) to prevent errors from occurring in future.
This position is also responsible for supporting initiatives of the medication safety pharmacist and other preceptors including regulatory compliance, policy maintenance, quality assurance and auditing.
