Job Summary

• The Health Information Management (HIM) Technician – Certified is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of patient health records to support coding, reimbursement, physician chart completion, and regulatory compliance.
• This position plays a critical role in chart deficiency management, unbilled management, mandated registry reporting, and electronic health record (EHR) maintenance.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission (JC), and facility policies, maintaining the confidentiality and security of patient health information.
