Job Summary
Under general supervision, transports patients of The Ohio State University Medical Center as assigned; Maintains patient transport carts, related mobile equipment and work areas.
Observes patients and reports any unusual or adverse change immediately to appropriate staff.
Maintains patient transport carts and wheelchairs for cleanliness and safe operating conditions; prepares carts and wheelchairs for transport on lift system; reports defective transportation equipment.
