You will be a valued member of the RBC Insurance CFO team, acting as a data and analytics partner to drive insights and innovation across financial accounting, performance management, and planning and forecasting activities.
The role involves leading development and optimization of data-driven solutions for IFRS 17 compliance, including process automation, advanced analytics, and predictive modeling while collaborating with IT, Actuarial, and Finance teams.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Data modeling and ETL/ELT expertise
Proficiency in Python programming
Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI
Advanced analytics and automation
Collaboration with Finance and IT teams
Process optimization and dashboard development

Understanding of IFRS 17 financial processes
Familiarity with actuarial and policy administration systems

Key Requirements
3-5+ years in data science or analytics in finance or insurance
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
