Job Summary
Cleveland Clinic’s Neurological Institute is expanding and has an exciting opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team of extremely supportive caregivers, serving the adult and pediatric population with our outstanding neurosurgical teams.
Care for Pediatric through Geriatric population with neurosurgical needs across the spectrum from emergency room to ICU, stepdown and floor.
Duties/procedures involved include standard hospitalist duties (progress notes, discharges, triage and respond to emergencies) and procedures including (but not limited to) lumbar punctures, sutures, EVD removal, corpak placement, and shunt adjustments.

Key Requirements
Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider
MSN required upon hire or within 3 years (for NP)
Graduate of an accredited APRN program (for NP)
Graduate of an A.R.C. approved Physician Assistant Program (for PA)
Currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in applicable state(s)
Currently licensed as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in applicable state(s)
Certification as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
