Understanding of brake system requirements
Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
Bill of Material management
Collaboration with manufacturing and quality

Knowledge of CAN and RS485 protocols
Basic microelectronics and firmware understanding
Statistical Process Control knowledge
Strong data analysis skills
Ability to manage multiple projects
On site plant meetings and travel
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or relevant experience
Minimum 4 trips per year travel requirement
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Knowledge of commercial vehicle brake systems
Experience with data acquisition and communications protocols
