The primary purpose of this job is to assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the facility’s social service programs to meet the emotional and social needs of residents.
Essential duties include assisting residents in achieving the highest practicable level of self-care and well-being, providing medically related social services, and coordinating activities with other departments.
The role involves working with emotional problems, assisting residents and families with anxieties, and evaluating social and family information to determine a plan for social treatment.
