Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Programme Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
  • Operate GOM ScanBox 3D structured light system
  • Execute First Article Inspection (FAI) on new blades
  • Apply trigonometry and mathematical calculations
  • Work 2 shift rotation schedule

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Polyworks IMInspect software
  • Knowledge of ASME & ISO geometric tolerancing
  • Understanding of single crystal casting processes
  • Ability to troubleshoot CMM and GOM assets

Key Requirements

  • Advanced modern engineering apprenticeship
  • NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 qualification
  • Copy of apprenticeship certificate required
  • Experience operating and programming CMM machines
