Job Summary
The Athletic Trainer Outreach PRN provides day-to-day athletic training services for a local sports team.
The athletic trainer will attend all home and away games as agreed upon by the respective head coaches and/or athletic directors.
This job safely administers the prescribed medications of topical corticosteroids, topical lidocaine, or other Schedule VI topical drugs; oxygen for use in emergency situations; epinephrine for use in emergency cases of anaphylactic shock; and naloxone or other opioid antagonist for overdose reversal.

Key Requirements
Licensed in Virginia or eligible
NATA Board of Certification (BOC)
Current CPR certification
Bachelors Degree accredited by CAATE
Two (2) years previous athletic training experience preferred
