Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EPA Section 608 Certification, type II minimum
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
  • Familiarity with R22, R410A, R454B and R32
  • Ability to use torches to braze
  • Ability to manipulate copper line sets
  • Familiarity with digital and manifold gauges
  • Prior HVAC training, trade school coursework, or hands-on experience preferred
  • Experience working in apartment communities or multi-family housing preferred
  • Familiarity with basic electrical and mechanical concepts preferred
