Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program in accordance with current federal, state, local and corporate standards.
  • Essential duties include participating in planning and conducting activities, assisting with communication, developing activity calendars, and participating in resident assessments and discharge planning.
  • The role requires encouraging resident participation in self-initiated activities and providing necessary materials, including reading materials in Braille or audio books as appropriate.
