  • The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will function as an independent healthcare provider working collaboratively with physicians and other members of a multidisciplinary health care team.
  • Provides direct individualized patient care and treatment with responsibility for assessing, examining, diagnosing and analyzing the patient's current health condition and developing short and long-term goals and treatment plans.
  • Participates in quality/performance initiatives, research activities, education, the development of policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines as indicated while evaluating and implements the standards of care within the area of specialization.

Key Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice Degree
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program
  • Montana Licensure (APRN) with Prescriptive Authority
  • Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
  • National board certification as NP
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Two years of Registered Nurse Experience
  • 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience
