Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Inspecting ammunition and testing aircraft systems
  • Loading and fusing ammunition on Marine Corps/Navy aircrafts
  • Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on ordnance
  • Operating power vehicles and ground support equipment
  • Identifying munitions and emergency response procedures

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Naval/Marine Corp Aircraft
  • Completed CNATT AO (A)(C) Course
  • Working knowledge of NAMP and NALCOMIS applications
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Previous military service with honorable discharge

Key Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Four years actual and recent experience in aircraft servicing
  • Must meet criteria per OPNAVINST 8023.24
  • Must obtain and maintain Secret US Government Clearance
  • US Citizenship is required for clearance eligibility
  • Must meet medical requirements for Explosive handlers
