Key Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field and 8-12 years experience
  • High School Diploma/GED with 15+ years applicable experience
  • Detailed knowledge of technical domain
  • Detailed knowledge of configuration change management principles
  • Detailed knowledge of managing product effectiveness
  • Detailed knowledge of interchangeability (ASME Y14.100, MIL-I-8500D, EIA-649)
  • Detailed knowledge of bill of materials, technical documents, drawings, schematics, diagrams, specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Adobe PDF editing
  • Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint
  • Minimum 3 years design engineering experience
  • Configuration Management/Data Management certification
  • Detailed knowledge of CM practices (SAE EIA-649, ASME Y14, ISO 9001, MIL-STD-31000, MIL-HDBK-61, DODM 5200.01, DODI 5200.48)
  • Minimum 5 years experience using PLM tools
  • Detailed knowledge of CAD software
  • Detailed knowledge of PDM systems
