Job Summary
Assist and learn to perform work involved with the installation, rearrangement, maintenance, operation, removal, and inspection of electrical transmission and distribution facilities.
Learn and apply all AEP, Operating Company, and Site-Specific Safety rules, participating in safety tailboards, Job Safety Analyses, and safety meetings.
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays and respond to callouts in both outage and non-outage work.

Key Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Currently enrolled in a 2-year Lineman Program
Maintain a 3.0 GPA
Valid state driver's license
Eligible to acquire CDL
