Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Operate CNC Horizontal Boring Mills
  • Operate Vertical Milling Machines
  • Operate travelling overhead crane up to 20 tonnes
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineered drawings
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance
  • Inspect work according to ISO and Quality Assurance standards

Nice-to-have

  • Cross-training and personal development
  • Commitment to outstanding service
  • Attention to detail with focus on quality
  • Experience in custom shop environment
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects

Key Requirements

  • Over 3 years HBM and/or VMM experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Journeyman Machinist certificate considered an asset
  • Permanent resident or citizen of Canada
  • Proof of qualifications and pre-employment testing
