Job Summary

  • Help the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife fulfill its mission to protect and enhance Oregon's fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations.
  • The primary role of this position is to play a role in supporting our work unit by caring for fish throughout the complete hatchery cycle, performing maintenance on grounds and equipment, and assisting in achieving assigned management goals within a fish hatchery environment.

Key Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Fisheries Technology, Aquaculture, Aquarium Science, Wildlife Technology or Agriculture; OR Eighteen months of experience
  • Obtain a CDL
  • Obtain an ATV Safety Education Card
  • Live onsite as a condition of employment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
