Job Summary

  • The SC Advisor provides advice and drafting support for purchasing professionals and will review purchase order/subcontract terms and conditions in compliance with applicable company policies and procedures, internal guidance briefs, federal, state, and local laws, as well as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and supplements thereto.
  • This role will advise purchasing professionals and program managers on subcontract issues such as warranty interpretation, limitation of liability, termination for convenience or default, indemnification, and other subcontract terms and risks, as well as novations/assignments, software licensing for Commercial and Free and Open Source Software, intellectual property issues, teaming agreements and other collaborative agreements, proprietary information agreements, and other agreement types.
