  • The EEG Neuroscience Technician II provides high-quality neurodiagnostic testing to support patient care across all age groups.
  • This role performs Evoked Potentials, Routine and Ambulatory EEG studies and Nerve Conduction Velocities (NCV), as well as teaches and assists with cross training of Neurophysiology Technologists Level I.

  • Perform EEG, Evoked Potentials, NCV studies

  • Advanced skill in collodion application
  • Monitor EEG tracings and annotate recordings
  • Communicate abnormalities to physician
  • Maintain EEG equipment and troubleshoot
  • Complete accurate patient documentation

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates degree in a relevant field
  • Credential in Electroencephalography (R.EEG T) and/or Evoked Potentials (R. EP T)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Three (3) years of EEG and/or Evoked Potential studies
  • Advanced knowledge of EEG/EP/NCV patterns
