The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director in running a creative and interactive activities program that meets the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
This role involves participating in planning and conducting individual, small and large group activities, assisting with transportation arrangements, and supporting communication among employees, residents, families, and external agencies.
The position requires physical abilities such as frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional climbing or stooping, with a work environment that is usually low to moderate in noise level.
