Job Summary

  • This position drives the roadmap, execution, and strategy for our Tax & Compliance portfolio; the engine that ensures our payroll platform stays accurate, compliant, and ahead of evolving federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Partner with compliance and legal teams to translate new legislation into system requirements and coordinate with MasterTax and Vertex teams to ensure correct data flow, calculation accuracy, and coverage.

Key Requirements

  • 6+ years in product management, payroll operations, tax technology, or compliance
  • Hands-on experience with payroll tax rules, filings, and compliance
  • Strong understanding of payroll tax rules
  • Experience with tax engines like MasterTax, Vertex
  • Familiarity with IRS/SSA schemas, SUTA/SUI frameworks
  • Working knowledge of APIs and data mapping
