Job Summary
The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records.
The role includes supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants and conducting in-services and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis.
This position requires participation in patient care conferences, discharge planning, and recommending necessary durable medical equipment to facilitate patient independence.
