Job Summary

  • The Associate Director provides operational leadership and technical oversight of maintenance activities for the sterile product manufacturing site while ensuring equipment reliability and regulatory compliance.
  • This role actively participates in major capital project design and execution, ensuring maintenance strategies and spare parts are fully in place prior to equipment qualification and initial manufacturing.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Seven years maintenance experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Three years supervisory experience with maintenance staff
  • Practical experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs
  • Knowledge of GMP safety regulations and sterile manufacturing standards

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with potent compound manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with Integrated Facilities Management organizations
  • Exposure to predictive maintenance technologies like vibration analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and retain maintenance technicians
  • Experience participating in Factory Acceptance Tests and equipment qualification

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Facilities Management
  • 7 years maintenance experience in pharma/biotech

  • Working knowledge of Lean principles
