Job Summary

  • The Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems on a continuous basis, responding to alarms, and executing plant shut-down and start-up procedures to ensure safe and environmentally efficient operation.
  • Responsibilities include controlling various plant systems such as steam generation, turbine/generator, fuel handling, and air pollution control, while accurately reading and recording data and identifying/correcting abnormal operating conditions.
