Job Summary

• This position will assist with facilitating Dr. Murry’s research programs on the mechanisms that underlie cardiovascular disease and to develop new treatments.
• The Research Lab Tech I will provide basic technical assistance to other laboratory technicians in conducting research experiments and conducts standardized tests and procedures under close supervision.
• Responsibilities include preparing experimental materials, collecting and sterilizing dishware, handling hazardous materials, maintaining records, preparing chemical solutions, and maintaining the laboratory environment.
