The Intern Catering & Special Events Coordinator will support day to day operations for the special events and catering department and assist the Director of Special Events.
The role involves planning, detailing, and executing catering requests, creating event orders and floor plans, and supporting catering operations for ticketed and special events.
This internship provides experience working closely with department leadership to gain knowledge in special events planning, catering, and event logistics at The Star, Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters.

Must-have
Creating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Event planning and execution
Catering operations support

Detail oriented and organized
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of Momentous, Reserve, Delphi systems
Familiarity with Social Tables, All Seated, Delphi Diagrams or Visio
Ability to work in fast paced environment

Key Requirements
Minimum 1 year hospitality coordinator experience
Working knowledge of culinary/food & beverage
Experience creating BEOs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in special events or hospitality industry
