  • report unauthorized attempts to access facility's information system
  • attend committee meetings
  • collect and assemble/compile records for committee review
  • prepare reports of nursing department labor issues
  • implement recommendations from committees
  • assist in interviewing CNAs
  • create and maintain atmosphere of warmth
  • assist in record-keeping of attendance and tardiness
  • confirm license/certification and current standing
  • maintain confidentiality of employee information
  • assist with maintaining records of current certifications/licenses
  • report known or suspected incidents of fraud
  • ensure departmental computer workstations are logged off
  • provide newly hired nursing personnel with orientation schedule
  • assign staff member to provide orientation
  • communicate new hire orientation schedule to unit manager
  • attend in-service training programs
  • assist with record-keeping for facility in-service education
  • report all unsafe/hazardous conditions
  • follow established safety procedures
  • ensure nursing supervisory supplies are replenished
  • report equipment/supply needs
  • ensure work/assignment areas are clean
  • report suspected or known incidence of fraud relative to billings
  • delegated administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability
