Job Summary
Employee will serve as an Engineering Supervisor II with a small group of engineers and technicians engaged in project management, engineering coordination, computer-aided design, construction plan production, estimating, surveying, contract administration and technical support for Division-managed transportation improvement projects.
This position will also be responsible for coordinating with other NCDOT units, private engineering firms, property owners, local officials, utility owners, regulatory agencies, construction contractors, and the general public.
The ability to oversee and develop all aspects of design to ensure that quality deliverables are produced in accordance with applicable policies and procedures and that right of way and letting schedules are met.
