The Patient Care Technician is responsible for assisting in direct patient care specific to the unit assigned; EKG’s; Behavioral Health Observation; assisting with patient transfers and repositioning, transporting of patients, supplies, or specimens; and any other duties as deemed necessary to ensure optimal patient care and physician service, under the direction and supervision of the professional nurse.
