Job Summary
The Public Safety Officer patrols assigned areas of the Medical Center to identify and/or respond to unsafe conditions and emergency, and answers calls for service pertaining to unauthorized or illegal activity.
Officers respond to emergencies and calls to assist with combative patients or visitors, fire alarms, infant/child abduction, active shooter etc., and perform inspections for hazards and unusual situations.

Key Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
One year of previous experience preferred
Valid driver’s license required
BLS Certification required
International Association for Healthcare Public Safety and Safety Basic Exam within 1 year required
ASP baton, Handcuff, OC Foam Spray and aggression management training within 6 months required
