This role leads a team responsible for developing and enhancing Workday’s stack deployment automation to meet service level objectives, reduce operational load, and scale sustainably.
The team operates in an autonomous scrum model with a follow-the-sun on-call structure, focusing on automation, observability, resiliency, and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience creating and maintaining environment automation on cloud providers such as AWS and GCP
4+ years of experience building and maintaining modular infrastructure and configuration-as-code systems
4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
1+ years of experience leading projects, mentoring engineers, or managing technical teams
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
