Job Summary

• This position's function is to climb wood poles, steel towers, microwave and radio towers up to 300 plus feet to perform repairs, maintenance, and construction duties as required to ensure effective operation of NPPD's Transmission Grid system in a safe and efficient manner.

Skills & Requirements

Key Requirements

• Line Technician status or Journeyman certificate
• Complete Journey Oral Review
• 30 months Apprentice Line Technician experience
• 4 years combined Apprentice/Line Technician experience
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Pole Top and Bucket Truck Rescue certifications
• Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
