Must-have

  • CHO genomics and biologics/vaccine analytical testing
  • Next Generation Sequencing applications
  • bioinformatic analysis of biomanufacturing processes
  • genetic characterization, genetic stability, integration site analysis and transcriptomics
  • computational approaches and pipelines
  • version control tools such as git
  • Unix/Linux OS experience and Bash scripting

Nice-to-have

  • bulk and single-cell RNA-seq analysis
  • metabolic modeling in CHO cells
  • sequencing-based diagnostics in GxP or GMP
  • bench methods (e.g. PCR, library preparation)

Key Requirements

  • Ph.D. in biology, bioinformatics or related (expected completion by May 2026)
  • M.S. with 4+ years experience
  • B.S. with 7+ years experience
  • Experience with CHO genome assembly, transcriptomics and comparative genomics
  • Strong programming experience (e.g. R, Python, Nextflow)
  • Experience working in high performance computing and cloud environments
  • Excellent collaboration, organization, and communication skills
