Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
Administer medications, transcribe physician orders, chart nurses' notes, and perform professional nursing services such as catheterization, wound care, and specimen collection.
Participate in staff development, safety and sanitation initiatives, equipment and supply management, and care plan development.
