The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is seeking a County Extension Agent specializing in Agriculture and 4-H to develop community-based educational programs focusing on youth development and agriculture in Jefferson County, Arkansas. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in agriculture or a related field and demonstrate strong communication and program planning skills
Job Summary
Conduct practical, community-based educational programs to empower individuals, families, and communities in the areas of 4-H & Youth Development and Agriculture with a Horticulture emphasis.
Develop and execute an annual action plan, plan and deliver educational programs, and leverage Extension specialists and research-based information to address county needs.
Support the county 4-H program, employ effective evaluation techniques to measure program impact, and ensure compliance with civil rights requirements.
