Job Summary

  • This Engineering Technician III is located in the Division 7 District II Office for Guilford County and is an advanced level position that will be responsible for the processing and review of driveway permits, site plans, utility and non-utility encroachment agreements, subdivision plans, and road additions/abandonments.
  • This position will perform on-site inspections for compliance to NCDOT specifications for driveway permits, encroachments and subdivisions.
  • This position will meet with utility representatives, contractors, property owners, and others to discuss adherence to policies and procedures, answer questions, and address complaints from the public by telephone, written correspondence, or in person.
