Job Summary

  • The Associate School Counselor effectively designs and implements counseling programs that optimize students’ preparation for learning and personal/social development for all students.
  • Provides counseling services as stated in students' IEPs; evaluates students' counseling needs and writes IEP goals; maintains and updates students' IEP progress reports; and participates in IEP meetings when counseling services are specified or requested.
  • Prioritizes safety in the workplace as a collective responsibility for the well-being of employees and fosters a culture of safety that is integral to our success, including strict adherence to safety procedures and protocols, as well as promptly reporting any safety hazards or incidents.
