  • As Fleet Manager you'll be accountable for the daily management of employees who are actively engaged in the maintenance, repair and servicing of heavy-duty vehicles, support equipment, and mechanical infrastructure owned and operated by GFL Environmental.
  • The fleet manager is responsible for asset maintenance and performance, this includes tasks such as overseeing the preventative maintenance program, annual inspections in accordance with provincial requirements, and cost control measures associated with the fleet maintenance program and budget targets.

Key Requirements

  • Red Seal Interprovincial Ticket in commercial transport vehicle mechanics
  • Diploma/degree in related mechanical field
  • 6 years previous experience in commercial vehicle maintenance
  • Supervisory experience with multi-disciplined team
  • 4+ years experience in heavy equipment industry
  • 3+ years supervisory and people management
  • Valid work authorization in country
