  • The cook is responsible for managing and operating the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor and preparing tasteful meals including special diets.
  • Maintaining a safe, orderly, clean, and sanitary kitchen environment is essential along with following cleaning schedules and recording food temperatures.
  • The role requires cooperation with personnel across departments and participation in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
