Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for managing complex employee relations matters, supporting leaders, and ensuring policies and procedures are applied fairly and effectively.
  • The Employee Relations Specialist acts as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues, providing guidance and practical solutions to leaders, as well as upskilling on key topics.
  • Work on organizational effectiveness and HR partnering change management efforts associated with reorganizations restructuring, mergers/acquisitions and transfers to ensure compliance to local legislation.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 6+ years of experience in HR
  • Significant Employee Relations experience
  • Extensive knowledge of employment legislation
  • Strong computer skills including HRIS
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good presentation, influencing, and coaching skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Professional HR accreditation preferred
