Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic Life Support [BLS] - Generic - HR Only required
  • Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory setting (0-1 year preferred)
  • Minimum 6 months employment in an ambulatory physician practice setting in the last 3 years (0-1 year preferred)
  • Completion of Medical Assistant School/Program or comparable training within related discipline OR enrollment in program to enhance MA skills OR enrollment in program leading to further skill development with medical field within 1 year of employment
