Job Summary

  • The Outpatient Registered Dietitian 2 position is responsible for assessing the nutritional status of and developing evidence-based nutrition care plans for patients impacted by liver, kidney, and lung disease with a specific focus on Cystic Fibrosis.
  • The position requires understanding the role of diet in both chronic disease and acute illness; experience with alternative feeding modalities such as TPN and Tube feeding; and maintaining current knowledge of best practices in nutrition care.
  • The position is responsible for providing patient education; facilitating communication between other members of the Food and Nutrition Department and healthcare teams; and working with UW interns and students.
