Job Summary

  • The Associate Chief Nursing Officer leads overall operations in inpatient nursing, evaluates and plans for improvements in nursing leadership performance, and facilitates strategic operational planning and program development.
  • The ACNO works with clinical leaders to develop and nurture high quality and safe care for patients, using operational excellence and implementation science as frameworks.
  • This position provides leadership, oversight, and coordination by developing strategic plans, objectives, goals, budgets, policies and practices of nursing, staff recruitment, orientation, ongoing training, and performance management.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Master’s degree in nursing or related field
  • Minimum eight years administrative responsibility
  • Progressive nursing leadership experience
  • Current Ohio RN license
  • Professional certification in Nursing Administration desired
