  • Proactively maintaining a fleet of construction plant equipment, HGVs and mechanical handling equipment, both company and customer owned within their engineering capabilities across a defined area of operation (primarily Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex).
  • Maximise the operational availability for the customer by investigating, understanding and eliminating failed/fault operation of the equipment such that the fix is as rapid and cost effective as possible while ensuring continued safe and effective operation for the foreseeable future.

Must-have

  • Investigate and eliminate equipment failures
  • Liaise with Service Desk and customer
  • Adhere to Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality policies
  • Work away from regional pool location

Key Requirements

  • Full UK driving license
  • No restrictions to gaining and retaining MoD security clearance
  • Valid passport
  • City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent in mechanical engineering
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety, LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Experience in construction related plant/MHE/HGV maintenance
