Job Summary
The Division of General Surgery at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a surgeon to join its growing six-member Acute Care Surgery section.
The successful candidate will manage a busy daytime ACS service, participate in nighttime and weekend in-house call, and educate surgical residents and medical students from University of Massachusetts and Tufts medical schools.

Salary
Base: $375,000.00 - $450,000.00 USD annually; Bonus/Equity: Performance-based incentive compensation including productivity and quality bonuses; Benefits: Not specified

Participation in quality and process improvement
Active clinical research in trauma and acute care surgery

Experience with difficult airway response team
Experience with emergency colorectal and bariatric surgery
Interest in elective general surgery clinical practice
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Work well with residents and advanced practice providers
Key Requirements
Completion of General Surgery residency
Completion of Surgical Critical Care fellowship
Board certified or board-eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
Eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure
Eligibility for academic appointment at University of Massachusetts Chan School of Medicine
Must participate in clinical research during employment
