Job Summary

  • The Division of General Surgery at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a surgeon to join its growing six-member Acute Care Surgery section.
  • The successful candidate will manage a busy daytime ACS service, participate in nighttime and weekend in-house call, and educate surgical residents and medical students from University of Massachusetts and Tufts medical schools.

Key Requirements

  • Completion of General Surgery residency
  • Completion of Surgical Critical Care fellowship
  • Board certified or board-eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
  • Eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure
  • Eligibility for academic appointment at University of Massachusetts Chan School of Medicine
  • Must participate in clinical research during employment
